“ David & Natacha are the special ones! We had a fantastic lunch here. Service especially from David was super. He recommended the beef stew with rice which was delicious. It was washed down with a nice glass of house red wine. The passion fruit pudding was great & went well with my decaffeinated cortado. The total bill was about 15€ per head so was good value. They have a private off street car park opposite which takes the strain off of worrying about where to park. The restaurant has a separate bar straight ahead as you enter. Otherwise to eat turn left. They have to end on left some great tables with fantastic seaviews. The decoraton is traditional and tastefully done too. Thank you David & team! ”

“ Delicious local food!! We got the swordfish, steak, vegetables, and potatoes the first time. We came back and got the roast chicken with the mixed salad and vegetables. Everything is so fresh and delicious! Nice and simple home cooking with affordable prices because the locals eat here. The fish is frozen but comes from the fisher men below by the ocean. The roast chicken has a delicious sauce that gives it so much flavor! The vegetables are all from local farmers so it’s naturally organic (not like the US which everything is GMO unless labeled organic) so it has so much more flavor from the mineral and vitamin rich Madeira soil. The daughter of the owners helps run the business, she is super friendly and speaks English very well! She was great to talk to! Across the street there is a beautiful view of the ocean from the top of the mountain where this restaurant is at. ”
“ We visited this place twice and booth visits where on 5 stars. I suggest to take “daily meal”. Portions are huge and it cost about 9 eur. Food is delicious. View also is stunning. Highly recommend to visit it. ”
